Welcome to our March Break Camps! We are thrilled to offer an exciting and engaging
experience for kids interested in technology. Our camp is designed to be both
educational and fun, and we offer a wide range of activities and projects to keep campers
engaged and inspired. Throughout the camp, kids will have the chance to work on group projects, participate
in challenges and competitions, and collaborate with their peers. We can't wait to see what our campers
create and discover during their time with us!
Coding Camps
Our coding camps feature coding in Python. Using engines like PixelPAD, campers will have the opportunity
to design and build their own interactive games from start to finish.
Campers will have the chance to experiment with different design choices and see the impact of their code in real time as they bring their games to life.
Alternatively campers at our spring camps can choose to delve into the exciting field of robotics.
Using kits and tools like the VEX-IQ robots, they will build and program their own robots from the ground up,
learning about various components such as sensors, motors, and engineering prinicpals as they build their robots.
For those interested in digital art, we also offer classes on graphic design,
3D modeling, 3D printing, and animation. Using tools like PixelPAD, Piskel, Unity, and green screens
campers will learn how to create stunning digital art and animations, and even put themselves into their own games and virtual worlds.
Our groups are formed by age and requests for campers to be together. The max class size for digital art and coding is 5. For robotics, kids are in teams of 2 or 3.
We will provide all the technical equipment including computers. We encourage kids to keep their devices at home so they do not get lost or damaged. Please pack a lunch, water bottle, and jacket. Each day, kids should dress for the weather.
Students will have a snack and a little time to chill out after a long day of learning and excitement. We will lead a few smaller games, provide some free time for independent play, and may play a portion of a movie each day.
Most of our spring break camp instructors will be high school students. A lot of them are very interested in tech and have been either an instructor or teacher's assistant in our regular coding classes.
Withdrawal requests made 2 weeks prior to class starting will be offered 100% store credit for the value of the order, OR a cash refund for the value of the order less 25%.
